Pretty in Scarlet has arrived!

So guess what’s available for purchase today! Go on, guess!
(Have you guessed yet? No? Okay, I’ll tell you.)

It’s that album we’ve been working on for a damned year now, is what! It’s available for download on Bandcamp as of this morning, and that means that if you want to stream the whole thing before you pay a cent for it, you totally can.

Obviously, we’re hoping you like it enough to pay for it, but hey, at least this way you know what you’ll be getting. (Among other things, your own copy of The Ballad of Captain America’s Disapproving Face, which a few people have mentioned wanting…)

So here it is! Go have a listen, and if you like what you hear, please shill the site — we’ve put a lot of work into this one, we’re proud of it, and we really want to share it with the world.

  1. Hi,

So I was the one with the digital mic at Pi Con this weekend 😀
I recorded all the activity in the Filk room, including the concert you two performed 😀

    So first,
Thank you for coming to the Filk room!

    Second,
You sang, as a last song, a piece you said was even new to the two of you.
I was wondering what the name of the piece was? And I was wondering if you wanted the MP3 of the song that I pulled from the data.

What happens with my recordings now?
    1) it goes into my personal archive
    2) you can ask me for copies any time you like (this includes all the songs I have from you)
    3) you can ask me to send it to someone you confirm you want it to go to.
    4) I tell people about the music I record, so Harold Stein is gonna be so jealous (I recommend you get this song on a CD or EP so he can buy a copy and catch up!)

Other than that, those riding in my car when I plug in the archive pod may hear it as the songs shuffle through random play.

    Again,
Thank you for coming to our filk room.
As the Filk track leader for Lunacon 2016 and 2017, I hope to hear more from the two of you and will be sharing sessions listening to your CD 😀

    Marc Grossman
